Logitech has introduced its G413 SE and the G413 TKL SE mechanical gaming keyboards in India. These are slightly tweaked versions of Logitech’s popular G413 keyboard and arrive in the country almost six months after its global release. Both the new keyboards offer a metal top case, PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) keycaps, tactile mechanical switches, and backlighting, among other features.
Logitech G413 SE, G413 TKL SE: Features, Specifications
The Logitech G G413 SE and the G413 TKL SE are touted to be apt for home or office apart from gaming. The G413 SE is a full-size keyboard, whereas the G413 TKL SE is devoid of the numpad. Both the keyboards come with a top case made of black brushed aluminium-magnesium alloy. The keycaps are made of PBT, which is more durable compared to the original G413’s ABS plastic keycaps.
The mechanical switches on the keyboard promise to offer tactile feedback to the user. The switches have an operating force of 50 grams and an actuation point of 1.9mm. The total key travel is four millimetres. The SE models probably use different switches, as the original G413 sports the Logitech Romer-G tactile switches with 45 grams of operating force, a 1.5mm actuation point, and a total key travel of 3.2mm.
Logitech says that these keyboards come with gaming-specific features such as six-key rollover and anti-ghosting, which allows you to press multiple keys at the same time to perform special moves while gaming. However, it misses out on the gamer’s favourite linear switches and reprogrammable keys feature. As this is a G-series product, it comes with white backlighting. The keyboards are compatible with Windows 10 or later, and Mac OS X 10.14 or later.
